Afirme launched the concept of a mobile bank, which will serve about 5 million customers annually, even in contingencies due to natural disasters, with the same reliability offered by a traditional branch. With the aim of bringing financial services to users in different areas of the Country, the Afirme Mobile Unit project began, which is equipped with three ATMs and a window for customer service.
In addition to reaching different corners of the country with the financial services of Banco Afirme, this unit, being self-sufficient in its operation, can provide service to banking users even in contingencies due to natural disasters.
The unit that will also serve in mass events, has a capacity of 1,500 operations per day at ATM’s and 45,000 per month per unit. It has the capacity to serve 45 thousand clients monthly and 540 thousand per year per unit. The objective is to have a fleet of at least 10 units, at the starting stage. Some of the operations that can be performed in the unit are: cash deposits and checks, withdrawals, service and credit card payments, purchase of airtime, account openings, credits, among others.
